Northern Education Trust are outcomes focused, child centred.

We are unswerving in our commitment to ensure that the outcomes our young people secure prepare them fully for life beyond school. Our Academies are happy and thriving communities where children both achieve and feel safe and cared for. As an inclusive Trust we strive to help young people overcome any barrier to learning. We are a caring employer and invest heavily in professional development, allowing our staff opportunities to take the next steps in their career.

We constantly focus on standards as we understand outcomes are paramount. Our decision making is driven entirely by what is best for children. By doing this we enhance the life chances of the children and young people in our care.

🪀 We had an unforgettable day with NED’s Mindset Mission! 🌟

Our students loved learning all about the "NED Mindset":
❌ Never give up!
🤝 Encourage others!
💯 Do your best!
Through amazing yo-yo tricks, we learned that mistakes are just part of ...learning and practicing persistence pays off—both in yo-yoing and in the classroom! 🎒✨

Year 1 had a wonderful day at St Anne’s Lytham Beach.

The children enjoyed exploring the sand, playing games, and spending time with their friends by the seaside.

They were excited to look for shells, build sandcastles, and learn about the beach environment.

Everyone... showed excellent behaviour and had lots of fun, making special memories together on their school trip.

🌿 What a classroom today at Bolton Abbey Estate!

Year 5 had a fantastic day exploring the estate and learning from a range of experts. We visited 6 different stations, including beekeeping, fire safety, mountain rescue, hunting dogs, habitat management, and animal population control. ...

The children discovered lots of fascinating facts, practical skills, and the important roles these people play in looking after the countryside.

The children were impeccably behaved throughout the day, listened attentively, asked thoughtful questions, and participated enthusiastically in every activity. Well done!
