Northern Education Trust are outcomes focused, child centred.

We are unswerving in our commitment to ensure that the outcomes our young people secure prepare them fully for life beyond school. Our Academies are happy and thriving communities where children both achieve and feel safe and cared for. As an inclusive Trust we strive to help young people overcome any barrier to learning. We are a caring employer and invest heavily in professional development, allowing our staff opportunities to take the next steps in their career.

We constantly focus on standards as we understand outcomes are paramount. Our decision making is driven entirely by what is best for children. By doing this we enhance the life chances of the children and young people in our care.

🐣 This Week in The Bridge! πŸ₯
We’ve had a busy, feather-filled week with our "Amazing Animals" topic! Here is a quick look at what our students have been up to:

Arts & Crafts 🎨 We got super creative with some "fork painting" to make the fluffiest ...little spring chicks you’ve ever seen!

Science πŸ”¬ We turned into mini-scientists to explore the fascinating life cycle of a chickenβ€”from egg to adult.

Messy Play 🌾 We wrapped up the week with some hands-on sensory fun, diving into textured chicken feed for some awesome messy play.

We love seeing our students explore the animal kingdom through art, science, and sensory experiences. Stay tuned to see which amazing animals we learn about next week!

🌲 Wild Explorers Update! 🌲

Year 2 had the absolute best time channeling their inner wild explorers today! πŸ‚πŸŒ§οΈ

Despite the muddy squelching and a very wet day, our little adventurers showed incredible resilience and kept their bright, positive smiles shining through ...the rain. From navigating slippery trails to helping each other through the puddles, their teamwork was next level! 🀝πŸ’ͺ

We are so proud of how they embraced nature today. Check out some of our muddy highlights below! πŸ“ΈπŸ‘‡

πŸ• Year 6 Pizza Making! πŸ•

This morning, our Year 6 pupils put their culinary skills to the test as they made their own delicious pizzas! From carefully preparing the toppings to creating their unique designs, everyone showed great creativity, teamwork and enthusiasm throughout the ...activity.

The classroom was filled with wonderful aromas and plenty of smiles as the children enjoyed seeing their creations come to life. A fantastic morning of learning, fun and, of course, tasty pizza!

Well done, Year 6! πŸ‘πŸ•

Year 1 thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the now>press>play imaginative learning experience.

The children were fully engaged as they listened to the immersive history audio and became active participants in the adventure.

Through movement, role-play and storytelling, they ...used their imaginations to explore new places, solve problems and experience learning in an exciting and memorable way.

What an incredible day for our Year 6 children in Ambleside! 🌟

Today they embraced the challenge of ghyll scrambling and canoeing on Windermere, creating memories that will last a lifetime. From climbing through rushing streams to working together on the water, every child showed ...outstanding resilience, bravery and teamwork.

These were new experiences for many, but their determination, encouragement of one another and positive attitudes helped everyone successfully complete the activities. We couldn’t be prouder of how they supported each other and stepped outside their comfort zones.

All of the staff are incredibly proud of every single child. Well done, Year 6 – you have been amazing! πŸ‘πŸš£β€β™‚οΈπŸ’¦

What a fantastic day of adventure in Ambleside and on Windermere!
