The governors and the sponsor of the academy, Northern Education Trust, are now seeking to appoint a talented and inspirational Science Teacher who will challenge and motivate our students across the age and ability range. Candidates will be expected to have excellent subject knowledge and enjoy working as part of a dynamic and creative team.

In 2019 we achieved our best ever GCSE results. This places us as the top school for Progress 8 in Stockton Local Authority. The percentage of students achieving a grade 5 in Science and Maths to 54% with 76% achieving a grade 4.

With our new state of the art academy building which opened in April 2016, this would be an exciting time to join our team and work alongside our other outstanding middle leaders.

As a result of our outstanding results and facilities, the academy is now growing rapidly in numbers allow us to recruit several new teaching and support staff.

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Inspire and motivate staff and students to achieve excellence.
  • Demonstrate the drive and skill to raise standards of students’ attainment and achievement.
  • Monitor and track student progress within each year group.
  • Work with the Principal and Senior Leadership team to develop and implement the vision for the Academy, ensuring targets are achieved.
